What is Qigong?

 

It is an holistic practice, where we work together with our body and mind to cultivate our „Qi“ = our vital energy, in order to promote our health.

The TCM = Traditional Chinese Medicine says that it is beneficial to promote our „Qi“ regularly, to gain health. 

To use a modern metaphor, we could think of our body as a battery. And this battery can hold, lose or even charge energy.

Stress, worries, sadness, fear, anger and over-excitement can even drastically weaken our vital energy.

 

With Qigong we learn to recharge body, mind and soul with healing vital energy and direct it towards health and harmony. To achieve this, we only need half an hour a day.

 

 

How does Qigong work?

                                                „Wellbeing gained through practice and persistence“

 

We learn how to maintain and redistribute the flow of energy to achieve greater well-being for body, mind and emotions.

 

Through various movements, breathing techniques and mental control, we direct our Qi to where it is needed. With the mind, we control the "Qi", and where Qi moves, blood also moves. Our body, our mind, and our emotions will heal and regenerate much faster.

 

In acupuncture, e.g. thin needles are used to loosen blocked Qi or to charge non-existent Qi for homeostasis. Homeostasis, to explain it more precisely, is the maintenance of the so-called internal environment of our body with the help of control systems. So when we practice Qigong, it's like acupuncture, however without needles.

 

Qigong is much more than exercises or sports. The extraordinary combination of movements, breathing and meditation really improves every single body organ. The "Chinese Health Qigong Association" can prove with scientific data that this vital energy is not only preventive, but also curative.

 

The benefits of Qigong are so great that it is a "popular sport" in China and integrated into their „public health care system“.

Xi-Breathing and 8 Cycles Qigong Movement

The Chinese word Xi means break, or rest. Through a small pause during your breath, you can bathe in the void of consciousness and gain the ability to dive deep into meditation...... to awaken your inner power and energize your three energy centers.

 

Qigong Xi breathing benefits you in 3 aspects:

1.     Clearing blockages (all pain and disease start here)

2.     After clearing, a concentration of energy can come in like a laser beam

3.     The potential energy can be used for healing of trauma or disease, for clairvoyance, for foreseeing ability, for healing others

 

As well you will learn the foundations of the 8 Cycles Movement, a beautiful series to help your body flow with Qi — and guide you to find your true self. Through the repetition of these eight simple movements, you’ll activate your energy centers and massage your internal organs — leaving you feeling nourished and invigorated. As these movements become familiar, they elicit a deep meditative state that transforms into a journey that opens into a vast and newfound realm of joy and light.

"Tibetan sound healing for women"

 

 Because of our physiological and emotional disposition,  women in particular tend to put others before themselves and act on behalf of family or community so that life can flourish. However, this selfless mindset can lead to energy blockages and contractions in our own bodies.

 

In this class, I will guide you to a deeper level of self-healing, self-care, and self-empowerment with Radiant Lotus Qigong practice (by renowned Qigong teacher Daisy Lee, designed specifically for women).

 

Healing, invigorating vibrations activated by your own voice dissolve tissues that are not part of our "optimal blueprint" and release stagnations that can later cause disease.

 

What will we learn in this class?

 

·      "Qi Energy Shower" to clear away energy residues that have accumulated in the mind and body (also good for hot flashes during menopause!).

·      A Qigong movement to align our body vertically between earth and sky - and cultivate a stable " lead energy" that strengthens the body and harmonizes emotions

·      Whole Body Qigong Self-Massage: helps remove disturbances that have been released by previous practices. It is a powerful way to get to know your own body, to learn what you really need and where you are emotionally. Self-massage also teaches us to listen to our body's signals and take care of ourselves on a deeper level.

"Ba Duan Jin"

or also "The 8 Jewels"

 

The creation of "Ba Duan Jin" cannot be attributed to a single person, the method benefits from transmissions that have been passed down from master to disciple for centuries.

 

The goal of these eight exercises is to increase the inner life force energy, to improve health and to stay vital.

 

 Several studies prove that the exercises of "Ba Duan Jin":

 

• regulate the cardiovascular, respiratory and digestive systems

• has a positive effect on the musculoskeletal system (gives limbs strength and flexibility to all joints)

• strengthens the immune system

• provides emotional balance and mental calmness

 

In practice, we combine mindfulness with movements and with long, deep breathing.

 

Through this "meditation in motion" we find health, harmony and well-being, which is a relaxed, comfortable and natural state of body and mind.

 

To learn this form well, we need approx. 15 hours. I recommend 1h 30min once a day. But who feels fit and wants to do 3 hours a day, it can also be done. We can make the plan as we want. It  is also included information material about Ba duan jin and the reason for its execution, I explain why it helps us in our health.

"LIU ZI JUE" - THE SECRET OF THE 6 SYLLABLES

 

LIFE IS SOUND AND VIBRATION

 

In the same way that we cannot Live without Air, there can be no Human Life without Sound. The Sages of ancient Asia discovered that Sound could transform the Cells of Human Being. The secret of the 6 syllables is in the wave frequency, which creates a perfect resonance that manages to balance the vital energy of each organ.

 

What do we learn in this course?

 

To remove Emotional, Mental and Physical blocks and then fill with Vital Energy and increase our Wellbeing

 

· „The 6 Healing Sounds“ = „Liu Zi Jue“ - With Breathing, Phonation and Movement we release emotions encapsulated in the cells
